π° What is NDA?
The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the joint defence training institution of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the Army, Navy, and Air Force train together before they go to their respective service academies. It is located in Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra.

3-year training in academics + basic military training
On completion, cadets go to:
Indian Military Academy (IMA) – for Army
Air Force Academy (AFA) – for Air Force
Indian Naval Academy (INA) – for Navy
After training, they are commissioned as officers in the armed forces.
